Out of control Pre-Teen
I recently moved in with my boyfriend and his son.It is OK except the son feel as though he can do what ever he want when his father is not around.Me I am new to this whole motherhood thing. I do not have children of my own so really do not know how to handle certain situations.
I try to give him the space he needs but at the same time he is taking advantage of me. his father gave a set time to be in the house. Which is 7. I think it reasonable for a 12 year old boy. He follows it as long as his father is home but the minute he leave he stroll in when ever he please.
Like hell. I started liking him out of the house. You want to be grown you can not stay up in here. I put all the locks on my door and if he think about coming in after 7 he might as well stay outside. He will not be playing me for no fool.Yes his dad know I do, He was the one who gave me the idea.
I will put my foot Down on a out of control teen.ask him he learned his lesson. Any question on how to put your foot down to just call me. Since I put my foot down things have changed a little bit. He may slip up every now and then but i will be right on his back side.
