"The First Date", actually it's the first interview, you meet someone you like, you want to get to know them. Ask them out for dinner or go walk around somewhere, anywhere you guys can engage in a conversation, mostly about what each of you do for a living, sharing past dating horror stories, anything to keep you both talking.
The first date is always an interview, it is a chance to break the ice with someone you don't even know. It's a chance to get to know a person, what they're really about and if there is enough chemistry for a second date or a possible sleepover. Never go to the movies on a first date, no passive judgments, and ABSOLUTELY do not ask her for a kiss, number one that's creepy, number two that's creepy, and number three just let it happen! Believe me it's better when it just happens because at least you know there is something between the two of you.

Anyway a typical first date should consist of dinner with insightful conversation, you two should be laughing even if its at each other at least there is laughter involved and that is always a good sign. Lastly a walk to the door (unless you are invited in) The walk to the door should not be awkward it should be a recap of what happened and how much fun it was. Go in for the hug, maybe a kiss on the cheek, and ask if you could call her because you would really like to see her again.
Its not difficult to sense if something is there between the two of you. Don't be afraid to make a fool out of yourself, most of all don't be afraid to be yourself, take chances. Whats the worst that could happen? If it doesn't work out you will live to "date" another day. I promise.
