Why do women work harder than men? A question still not yet answered. I also ask, why are men considered stronger than women? Because we are slaves to our emotions? Well that seems like the typical male answer.
However, it's incorrect. Women have to work harder in the workplace because even though our gender has come a long way over the years, we are still considered the in-superior gender. Which, in my opinion, makes no sense. We, in most cases, have harder lives than the men around us simply because we are more in touch with our emotions. But who really is the stronger gender?
I think that question answers itself. I mean, have you ever seen a man push out a baby? Or bleed for a few days a month? Come on.
I might be getting off the original topic here, but it all relates to each other in the end. We are mothers and wives, and nothing more. But being a mother and a wife is harder than almost any man can even begin to comprehend. So why should we have to work harder? It's not fair.
There it is. The moral of this article/rant. Life isn't fair. We work harder just to get the same respect as men when usually, it doesn't even make a difference. But we don't give up. We push on and continue to try. We're stronger.
I'm not saying that we are superior to men because in all honesty, that wouldn't be right either. We are complete equals and should be treated as such. Even though that's not the case and we still have to work harder for recognition, women will continue to do as such. We know that we're equals. That's all that matters.
