Poetry: Making a difference

Change one word

Eliminate the hatred increase the peace,
Instead you would rather have revenge be unleashed.
Develop a heart of compassion care about the ones in pain,
No, you just are thankful you was not the one to take hurt to the extreme!
Consider all the consequences before every move you make,
Impatience reeks in your vein so you dive in once again before you think.
Immune to all the craziness that the world has going on,
or is it a cover up, you have some troubling issues of your own?
Take it from me, it is easier to just look at another approach,
Change the word that make up your life, make yourself a voice.
Keep pushing the possibilities that it could be you away,
You might find the world has move on with out you and no one knows your name.
It does not hurt to take a stand and be the one outside the box,
Change the word you have made for yourself from hate to love and see the difference it makes.
