We are to worship and praise God. The question would be do we worship the Bible, Gods word. You are not to worship the leather cover and the pages contained in the Bible. You are to read the Bible be obedient to God and praise Him and worship Him daily with all that you have. Gods word is Holy, Gods name is holy! The actual book that is printed that we read and carry to church is not holy, the actual book we have in itself! its the content, the words and teachings that are Holy. But to be clear we worship God not a book, the book is written for us to read and reference in our languages. Then when we read and pray through the spirit the book then comes to life as the living breathing word of God.

There is no need for a choice, God or the Bible. Worship God and read His word. Pray and obide in his statutes and will for your life. again let me stress that its the message and the words contained in the book. The leather cover and your Bible is not to be worshipped and considered Holy! God is holy and deserves all our praise and worship, His word is instruction for our lives.
