Kindergarten readiness: Should I hold my child back?

You already know the answer to this oft asked question! Yes we know there are a multitude of factors concerning a chid's readiness for school and all of these have merit I'm sure but....How about the one factor which outways the combined total of all the other factors.
Still not sure? Well let me enlighten you.Its first and last letters spell "in" and why?

Because the answer is in you! It's your intuition.
Holy cow if you don't know your own child and trust your instinct you better send for the stork and return to sender
You've watched your child grow and develop and imteract with other children.
You've read to them and watched them play with paint.
You know they don't need all the answers befors they start school but I bet you know whether they're ready to take that first big step along the educational highway.
Trust your instincts and you make the decision. You'll feel a whole better for it...trust me.
My first born was only four and a half when we decided to send him to school much to the horror of my colleagues(I'm a teacher) and everyone we spoke to. But we trusted our instincts and he never looked back-socially or academically. Today he is excelling at university in a double degree.
I wonder if we listened to everyone else what would have happened.
