Soul mates: A new definition of relationships

"More Happy love! More Happy Happy love!"- John Keats
Love. Hmm…That famous pounding in the heart, the shivers, the dreamy eyes, the soft, shy smiles…does it still exist?
Today, love is scorned by so many people- how often have we heard people all around us, declaring out loud: "I don't believe in love!" or better yet, "I plan, never ever to fall in love!" Well, sorry to deceive you, but this is actually way beyond your control.

Yeps, that's right. Falling helplessly, madly, totally in love with someone, or simply developing a crush or an infatuation on that particular tall, dark and handsome stranger is not for us to decide. Actually, love or infatuations are mostly caused by circumstances…with a bit of passion thrown in of course!
Often, those who claim not to believe in love or those who declare themselves to be die-hard UNromantics are mostly those who have been either hurt in love before, or who simply did not get the chance to experience it yet. Come on guys! I understand if you have been heartbroken before or had a few painful experiences in love in the past but is this the reason why you should be sooooo pessimistic and join James Blunt in his famous, pathetic song "Goodbye my Lover"? What if your heart has been shattered once? Or twice? This is not the end of the world- and most importantly, this does not mean that love does not exist! If that was the case, then geniuses like John Keats or Shelley would not have existed to enchant us with wonderful poems on love! If love was really only a fantasy, then mankind would never have existed!
What can be more wonderful than a budding relationship between a man and a woman? Imagine a world where despite the differences in their opinions, they still complete each other; still make each other glow simply by their mere presence. Sigh…
I know, I know, many off you out there are most probably rolling your eyes and scoffing and saying that real life is far from being a classic fairy-tale romance but I really cannot understand why sooooo many of you persist in being so negative? Such happiness does exist- it is not one or two painful experience which will put an end to love.
Sometimes, without even planning to, you may fall in love with somebody. Or, you may have conjured up your 'ideal guy' in your mind and then fall for someone who is the complete opposite of your dream-boy, both physically and mentally. Yeah, such things do occur, for love actually lies in circumstances beyond your each. And never forget that if you are really meant to be, no force on earth will be able to keep you two apart. No matter what.
Remember, true love knows no jealousy, no possessiveness…
It is simply about loving, smiling, being happy and knowing to let go when the times comes.
Love is euphoria.
As simple as that.
