Christian mostly celebrate harvest time it when at the end of the season you gather up the crop. Halloween is a time to celebrate the dead, so Christian move away for that. I don't see nothing wrong with church people having a harvest time for the children and letting them dress up in bible character and letting them eat good food and have fellowship with their brother and sister in Christ. We can get to Holy than thou and forget God want us to have fun and enjoy life to the fullest . We must tell our children the different between truth and fantasy . Halloween was a time for the dead to be honor and we now know that we honor the living Christ who is very much alive within us, We can not compare ghost and witches we Jesus our Savior ,Christians sometime get to caught up about what we should celebrate. The bible say train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he want depart for it. That why me must tell the children the truth at a young age . Christian can explain seed time and harvest time and how at the end of the season we gather sweet pots, Indians corn , punk in,etc. Let not get our panties in a twist, I don't believe you will go to hell just for giving cute little children candy and a lots of fun.
