What does it take to soar like the eagles
and walk this earth with dignity?
Where can I leave my passion's print?
Do I have to use indelible ink
to get people to think
beyond the scope where they lack hope.
What does it take to be free
to be me without the constraints
of thoughts gone asunder
from someone else's plundering past.
Like thieves in the night
we can steal each other's heart's wrappings
and start tapping new tunes.
Do we need to consult runes
to really get to know
how magnificent we are,
that we can be stars
with effervescent light
speaking a language so bright
we dissolve fear.
What does it take to
pierce the clouds of despair
and birth people who share
from wholeness?
What does it take for people
to discover that wholeness
is more than a linear state
of awareness.
Throw flames of violet fire
across the landscapes of consciousness.

each level grows a new set of tools
with new rules
for living, loving and learning
discerning layers of thought.
Stop and listen for instructions
to the ways through.
There's always clues.
