I hold you in my soul
You've been part of my everyday so long
Each morning we'd greet
Every night wish one another sweet dreams
All occasions you'd accompany
For holidays our plans seamed
Together songs sung
Seasons came and went
The years trickled on
How I revered you "Heaven sent"
Until one day it all fell apart
A screeching wreck halt - callous as a rock
Shattered pieces too small to patch
"Us" memories a ceaseless itch without you, my scratch
An allergy of longing only a sneeze (casting out the demons) could relieve
Aahchooo!
Bless you, darling.
Aahhh-chooooooooooooooooooooo!
My watery eyed reprieve
