the paramedics, and then we have to call you to find out what you want to do with the body. You know, regarding the funeral and all."
Dennis seemed satisfied with the answer. "Okay, thanks officer." Dennis then began to slowly walk towards his car, hanging his head as he walked.
Ramsey then made his way back into the house to help Miller. They dusted around the computer area, the staircase, and pretty much all over the rest of the house. Once again they came up empty handed.
"How is that possible? Not one fingerprint, no evidence. I don't get it." Miller commented.
"The only explanation, if there is one, is that the person was one hundred percent clean. I don't think that's the case anymore, though."
"What do you mean? You don't think that there is a connection with the computers?"
"No, that's not what I'm saying. I still feel there must be a connection with the computers, but what I don't think is the case is the suspicion that there was another person in the house. I may be wrong, but we have no evidence or anything that even leads in that direction. All we have is two deceased women. For all we know, that's a lead."
Ramsey and Miller left the house with just about as much knowledge of what's going on as when they had entered. There was something going on, and Ramsey knew it, but so far there was nothing he could do about it.
