The facts about domestic violence affecting women

I as a victim of domestic violence have seen the ins and outs. Society don't help getting the women and children out of those situations. I've been there even though I left, I lost the very people that I truly care about, my children. My husband and his mother fought for custody and his mother got custody! My children are mentally abused, the system don't care. My children come home, covered in blood and the GAL tells the hospital that my children are in a safe place with my mother-in-law! How can that be? Can they not see what is going on? The answer is, they can, but they just want to turn the other cheek and ignore the problem at hand! Even though Indiana is usually for the mothers, the income most frequently matters to them and not what's best for the children. I am a working, single mother making less than $10/hr for a huge retail giant in our country. I have tried plenty of times to get a better paying job. I have tried to get government grants to go back to school. I have been thrown in jail for no apparent reason other than for my in-laws and husband to prove that I'm some kind of monster when I'm not. That's another part of domestic violence, women and children going to jail when they don't deserve it. I fear for my children! Put the word out about domestic violence. Help a loved one or friend out. Don't let them loose their kids just because they don't make enough money! Don't let their children suffer at the hands of the abuser just because their mother can't make ends meet! Support those that are speaking out about domestic violence on this website! Chances are, they really do know someone or are someone who is a victim. Visit their article as often as possible so that they can help those who are in need of assistance! Encourage someone who is a victim to write on this website. I am working on building my store on e-bay. I have proceeds going to great causes and to try to fight for my own children back. If you want to write me and ask about my web-store on e-bay, please do. Every 7.4 seconds a woman is beaten by a man/partner, please help in the fight against domestic violence and thank you for reading my article. Don't let another waking moment pass before you speak out against abuse in this world!
