The Bible as the word of God? Of course! To think otherwise is devilish in itself. There is no way that Satan could write the Bible and speak of good things that are pure when he is the chief of sin. Anyone swayed into thinking Satan is the author of the Bible does not know theology, and they've not read the Bible and understood it.

It clearly states that the Bible was written as men were given the inspiration of God. Meaning that the men who wrote it did so only when prompted by God on what to say! These were all men who prayed earnestly to develop a closer relationship with God. Men who looked to the coming of the Messiah as the greatest story ever told.

Throughout the ages, there have always been skeptics. That part is Satan, seeking to set people down the wrong path AND NOT READ their Bibles! The Bible is a spiritual map to understanding where we need to go. If the Bible is not easy for you to read, find a translation or version that breaks it down best-a study bible or one with a good concordance, or take bible study classes so that you can learn among other people who are also on the same quest to know the Lord in a deeper way.

When it comes to believing in God, it is a personal decision, BUT it is important to find others who can encourage you and discuss the Bible with you. There is just nothing you can do in life without consulting the Bible. Every aspect of life is contained in there, that if it weren't there there'd be no social interaction. Scary thought. Because of the Bible, we have hope. We have a plan. Without it, we are only torturing ourselves in a meaningless existence.
