Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes..............hanging a noose in public should be considered a hate crime.
What else is it, that would make you do such a thing. In my opinion, A person that thinks it is alright to hang up a noose should go to prison. WHY?..............Everyone in the world knows what a hanging noose represents. Older African American's know first hand what a hanging noose in public means.
I wonder how many older African American's still dream of the sight of seeing a friend or loved one hanging from some bush or a tree for no reason.
I have wonderful memories of my childhood, and my older Aunts, Uncle's and Cousins love to talk about the way things used to be, but I bet the only memories some seniors have are of a noose being tied around a tree, and some innocent man being hung for something as simple as trying to get away from a man that has stole you,took you away from your roots and heritage,beat you and raped your mother and sister's.
Slavemasters were told to turn slaves against each other to better control them. IF that didn't work, you were tied and whipped until you submitted, or hung.
It always amazes me how we are supposed to live in "AMerica". The land of the free and the home of the brave but for a long time, America tolerated the mistreatment of Jewish people, and slavery. The KLU KLUX KLAN (I don't really care if I spelled it wrong or not)is so proud of what they are, they cover their faces with white sheets, while terrorizing innocent people.
