Disciplining inspiration for creative writing

Nomatter what, everyone does some creative writing throughout their life. But the key that's needed is inspiration. Inspiration can be gained from anywhere or anyone. You can't neccesarily search for it either. You just need to think.

I also depends on what you want to write.
A Poem?
A story?
A report?

Nomatter what, inspiration is needed for everything.

I'm an author and know that it can take a long time to gain this gift. You need to first of all outline roughly the subject you want to write about, then look around. Search. Dream up the characters you want to include if it is a work of fiction and the facts you want to address if it is a work of non-fiction.

Some people say to me whenever i'm writing a plot - you design a plot first don't you?

I look at them and say no. I can't draw up a plot because when you're creative writing it mostly just comes to you as you go along. Then, when i proofread it, i work through the things that could perhaps be changed about to make more sense.

Creative writing can't always be planned out - not in detail anyway.

Address the style and subject/genre you want to write about and then let your imaination take it on from there.

You'll see what i mean.
