Making Up Your Mind

How do you know
If you want this,
Or if you want that?
How can you tell
Which one's right?

When part of you
Wants it one way,
And part of you
Wants it another,
Which one will
Get its way?

It sure can be tough
To make up your mind
But it helps
When you listen inside
That's where you'll find
The answers you want
Each and every time.

Somewhere near
Your heart will be
A feeling of truth,
Plain to see.

This place will hold
The secret key
To unlock all of life's mysteries.

In order to reach it,
You'll need to know
That it hides sometimes
And doesn't easily show
It won't let you in
When you search it down
It'll find you,
When it's ready to.

When you least expect it
The choice becomes clear
It just pops in your head
Out of nowhere
The feeling you get
When you know what it is
Leaves nothing else
Left to be said.

What you seek will come,
When you're ready for it,
That is!
Until then,
You'll just have to wait
It'll be there
When you need it,
Call it fate.

When you can't
Make up your mind,
Let it make up itself
Search yourself
Deep down within
And, open your ear,
The answer's near
Can you hear it?
