Of course hanging a noose in a public place is a hate crime! No one would place a noose in a public place, for any other reason than pure hatred! It's no different than burning a cross. The act shows intent. This means it was" intended" to frighten, scare, alarm, annoy, a sector of our human race. It's done intentionally, and is a clear "symbol" of hatred, perhaps violence. Nowhere, does this fall under the category of "freedom of speech". It revokes anger, amongst us all.

If I run into a grocery store, and scream "Death to the Blacks," is that okay? No, the police will arrest me for threatening lives; it's called terrorist threat. Now if I run into that same grocery store swinging a noose, the same message is conveyed and I actually have the weapon in my hand.

Clearly, we can't be debating if this is hatred? There is no other reason or explanation for noose to be hanging anywhere. It sets off violence; it causes innocent people to engage in all the ramifications of its message.

The noose inspires nothing but Hatred, The fact that cowardly acts of hatred come in the dark, or behind the sheets of KKK should tell you so. If this wasn't a hate crime why isn't this happening in broad daylight? Perhaps this fact alone, can tell you that it's a cowardly act, and it has no message except "Murder, and Prejudice". Let's use our heads, and think how each of us would feel if we woke up in the morning and a noose was hanging in our front yard? Petrified, scarred, perhaps wondering who was coming to kill us?

The fact is, and remains, that these are shameful, lude, and violent acts of HATRED. The" intent" of HATE is CLEAR. Start prosecuting these hate mongers! This is no different than intent to MURDER, or making a terroristic threat in our public domain.

It's really a shame when we are debating RIGHT from WRONG. I say straight to Jail to think a while about the message behind the NOOSE!
