There are so many different versions of our Holy Bible that I think it would be a mistake to say that one version is more true than any other version. What version of the Bible do you read? Why do you read that particular version?

I read more than on version of the Bible. The three versions I read are, the King James, the NIV, and the NASB. I think that reading more than one version gives me a better understanding of what was really written all those years ago when the origional writers wrote.

The biggest reason I read the King James, although it is difficult for me to understand the type of writing in that version, is because it corrolates more closely to the Bible Concordance, and the Bible Dictionary. I think that if you really want the true meaning of what is said in the Bible you should study in with the origional language definitions. I read the NIV, because it is the easiest translation to understand and it makes for easy reading when I just need to connect with God and there is no time for study. I read the NASB when I am trying to figure something out, and I don't have access to the Bible dictionary.

My favorite version of the Bible is the NIV. The main reason it is my favorite is because it is easy to read, and I can grasp the general meaning of the text real quick. I don't believe that it is more true and accurate than any of the other versions, nor do I think that any other version is more true than the NIV.
