Movie analysis: The psychology of the movie: It's a Wonderful Life

One of my favourite films and probably a film that definitely makes you think about what you have got in your life.

Sure George Bailey was a little unlucky in life at times, but that is what life is all about, you win some, you lose some. But he found a lovely lady whom he married and they were both very much in love with each other and had beautiful children.

Some people do go through life living a charmed life, but wheres the fun in that, sometimes to have to struggle a little bit just makes you stronger and have a specific goal that you will be more likely to achieve.

I think in all our lives when we get to a certain point of being down and thinking that there is no end in sight, it would be great if we were given an insight as to how life would be if we had never been born.

In the real world its not meant to be and so for the time being just treat each day as the start of a new life. Don't look back and ponder on what things might have been if you had done this or that. God I wish I practiced what I preached.

George Bailey's angel watched over him and gave him options to think about and I think the chemistry between the two of them was brilliant. We all have angels watching over us, I believe this more so as I grow older. Whether we choose to accept this is another thing, but our deep subconscious mind tells us stuff and its up to us to listen.
