Im writing this article because i want people to know what it is like to be a teenager, and to be exposed to drugs. I am from Palm Beach Florida, a place where everyone has BMW's and Bentleys, a place where you can get your hands on anything. People like to say, wow look at the people in the show the OC, and look at the lives that they live, and wow look how fabulous it is. Well, Palm Beach is much more extreme, kids would have lavishing party's, get anything that they want, and do anything that they would like to do. Drugs is a big thing here, I know kids who have been doing cocaine since sixth grade. I know Kids who have been in rehab 3 times. I know kids who have been addicted to Vikodin, one of the most extreme pain killers around. Not only are people in my area are doing these drugs but kids all over the place are doing these as well. Im writing this article, because i want parents to know what is going on. It seems as if they are totally obliviant with what is going on with the drug scene, and have no idea how to stop it, and prevent it. Well, here you go, im giving you these things that can change your life, and your child's life forever. First of all, if you haven't all ready, brainwash your child. I know, that seems a little harsh, however you need to do it. My parents did it to me, and i have never touched drugs. It works. Second, make them do research on drugs, let your child find out what drugs do to you. Im a freshman in High school, and if everyone knew the truth behind drugs we probably wouldn't have the major problem that we have now. I meen if we all knew that when you snort cocaine, you are really snorting chemicals, blood, and human fesses, because its the only way they know how to make it. And last, sit with your child, and just talk to them. One of the main reasons why kids get involved with drugs, is because they can be under a lot of pressure,a nd a lot of things might be going on in their lives, and they just want to get away from it all. Planning a trip to some place that they like, or just talking and letting it all out, really is a major help to a lot of people, and could really help them out.I hope this advice can help you out, and i hope that you learned something from this
