My hands outstretch to take the gift,
From my loving daughter
A card of love she has made,
With the paints, I bought her,
Her tiny fingers had held the brush,
Hearts painted neatly on the card,
Colored in the shade of red,
I show her my regard,
She'd cut the edges very pretty,
Petals, I think they were,
Then sprinkled glitter everywhere,
Handmade, I do prefer,
