What is art and what is good art?
After examining art theory, art history, from primitive to Modern, and practicing art for 20 years. I have drawn a conclusion to rise above and find the true mastery of art! The U.S. has long awaited an answer. It might sound offensive at times but we in American culture have found garbage to be the norm. I find it to be a way of not studying correctness and then disciplining yourself to use correctness. So from a lazy man's world it will be hard to repair the damage done.
Art is any art that the artist had an intention of being art, although that does not qualify the art to be good art or a masterpiece. Good art is something that is deeply considered in all aspects of the arts category and the idea it represents including the language it is speaking. Good art would also represent the culture of that time thus marking events of that point of history related to that specific time and space. As if to say: "If you are producing a painting you must consider all aspects and technologies of painting in order to make it an everlasting event in history."
What are these aspects? Let me explain using the English alphabet as an example. When you are very young your culture, society and schools will use a system of that culture to teach you how to write. Beginning in a block form you will create an (A), then a small (a), then a (B), etc. etc.. You then eventually process this information and begin to write letters proficiently. Now that you can write letters what do you do with them? Now they will teach you how to spell a word. So these letters mean something, but would mean something else when combined. Right away a form is put together with other forms in order to represent a final but new form or idea. Simply, by the grouping these forms or letters you create a word. Nevertheless, just because you can make words, that does not mean you can write a good sentence. So you must be taught how to write a thought clearly so it could be understood. Culture comes into play again, whereas, you must learn the language of your society so they can understand what you are saying to them. So you will learn things like nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and which order to place these words in order to make clear sentences.
I think by now you can see where I am going with this. You start with an idea or fall into another idea from an initial idea. I am saying that you might have a clear
