Poetry: When it rains

"Rainfall"
Rain slides down the window
gathering under the sill.
It echoes off the sidewalk

Clouds block out the setting sun.
Fog rolls down the rain slick street.
The surrounding world grows calm
as I'm falling fast asleep.
