A serious colonic issue commonly overlooked by the medical profession, is Diabetes Insipidus. I have suffered terribly as a result of diabetes insipidus after my head was shaken like a milkshake in a MVA,damaging hypothalamus, causing the body to severely dehydrate to a point where you feel you will die if you can't get moisture into your system. I suffered this condidtion for 2 years after my MVA, & only one doctor detected the problem, whose sister also suffered it. However, as he was only a GP, and being for compensation, his tests were ignored by specialists and lawyers/insurers. I ended up with a critically low iron level, to the point that doctors insisted I had cancer, even though no tests proved this. I suffered many 'full bloods' tests and tried almost every iron supplement available, until found Spatone, a water in sachets from Wales. It absorbs immediately into the system, without going through the digestive system first. Recently I met a friend who had a motorbike accident 40 years ago, landing on her head. She has since suffered this chronic thirst and digestive disorders, and no doctor has considered giving her an osmolality test. I suspect there are thousands of innocent victims out there not knowing why they have critically low iron, bad digestion and chronic thirst, as they have never linked the two problems. MVA's happen every minute.
