The evolution of horror movies

Don't all the good books say we need to mold are children's minds to be successful? The only success I see coming from these blood hurdling movies is the money in the movie makers pocket. I feel watching horrible things paints a picture in your mind, is that what we want in our minds? In our children's minds? I definitely believe that watching these sort of things dulls the minds senses!

Police who come upon a crime scene did not at first handle very well what they were seeing, it takes time after time for them to get use to seeing it but it never settles well. It has been proved although after watching or looking at horrifying picture that at first your mind says: OH! My! and then after seeing it more your minds senses dull themselves to it. It becomes a little more acceptable.
I could live without it in my life! Somehow I wish they could be banned forever. I do believe damage has been caused already. The "news" why can't it be filled with all the positive instead of the negative? They say you are what you eat. So are we what we see? Numb to the violence? We are a free world and we have free speech so we can say what we want to see and what we don't want to see. But don't all you readers out there think that just maybe there's not enough control on horror movies? They get worse every year! Have you ever asked yourself why? I believe they know what they have done to us and they say: We need more blood , more scare, we can't do that it's already been done, lets make it as evil as we can Sale more ticket's, it's all about the mighty dollar!
Let it begin with me, I choose not to watch or let my grand children watch either! What's your choice. Or have we all forgotten that it's out there and we have to be careful. WE need to remember we have the right to choose!
