Alternative medicine: The benefits of acupuncture for 30- and 40-year-olds

If your body is strong, and your immune system quickly battles away those nasty colds and viruses that attack everyone else around you, it is only natural to feel a little cocky. Someone mentions the benefits of acupuncture and you immediately tune-out. You live by the motto: "If it isn't broken, don't fix it!"

* Improves the body's circulation
* May be administered alongside clinical treatments without dangerous side-effects
* Can be a form of preventive medicine with positive benefits to the body
* Provides energy, strength and vitality to a recovering patient

Each channel connects to a specific organ. Illness occurs when an energy channel is blocked. Acupuncture therapy comes to the rescue by stimulating the channel flow resulting in renewed body and mind harmony.

Another amazing fact is that health insurance companies are now covering some acupuncture treatment costs. If nothing else, this
