Teenagers can do a lot of things to spend their time meaningfully and at the same time earn some pennies for their needs.
Here are some tips:
1.You can look for entry level jobs in the field that you would like to continue higher studies.
2.You can work in a local restaurants and save money for college.
3.If you are skilled in arts and crafts ,make some items and put for sale.
4.Check in your local newspaper to see if their is any jobs for teenagers as intership programmes.
5.Go and enquire in local community hospitals,elderly shelters,youth camps on how you can volunteer and learn some skills.These skills would be of great use when you apply for jobs later.
6.Learn computers in your freetime and start computer lessons for kids.Also you can take tuition for lower grade students.
7.Those intrested in Baby sitting can consider this as a summer part time job.
8.You can be a tour guide in your area,if you are familiar with nearby tourist destinations.
9.If your family is involved in any business,you can join the family business to learn more of how business works.
You can check the yellow pages of your phone book to get more ideas and addresses of places where you can seek for jobs.Seek for opinion from career counsellors who can also help you to find a job that suits your intrest.
Doing summer jobs is a great way to learn about differnt options in different fields in which you can enrich and input your talents.This will also help teenagers to choose the subjects of their intrest in college.
