Angels aren't always the ones with gossamer wings
Or a golden halo upon their head
They may not be all dressed in white
Or know of things that lay ahead
Angels my simply be someone
Who comes into your life
They may be a friend or stranger
They may be your husband or wife
Angels are the ones, who help you find strength
When things seem so bad you have none
When you feel the rest of the world
Has turned it's back because of things you have done
They may not always be seen
But you know they are there when you need them
You can feel their love and support
Even when you can't touch them
Some people call them angels
Others call them friends
I know, no matter what may come
Mine will be with me til the end
