"Pain in life"
-
I look at the pain in my life ,
The loss of parents , pets and wife ,
My heavy heart full of grief ,
I stand here in disbelief ,
How do I control this pain ,
Upon my heart that caused this strain ,
To give life's pain a needed rest ,
To free the pressure in my chest ,
Seeing lost loved ones every where ,
How do I tell them that I cared ,
To have the chance to tell them goodbye ,
Might dry these tears of pain from my eyes ,
All I have now is my kids ,
And all the wrong things I did ,
I wish I could make it right ,
To stay focused and not loose sight ,
The pain I am sure will stay a while ,
Through my pain I do smile ,
If only to hide my pain ,
To go forward and live again ,
