The history of Christmas

Ready or not, here it comes! Christmas is almost here, it is my favorite day of the year. This Christmas is going to be my best one so far. I have two wonderful children; a three year old girl and a seven month old boy. My little girl will finally go bananas over her toys and things. The past two years has been mainly about the gift wrap. My boy will be a little young and probably be overwhelmed by it all. They are going to make Christmas morning so exciting. I love eating at Christmas time, because everybody knows you cannot diet around major holidays. I will enjoy helping cook. I can cook desserts pretty good but when it comes to a turkey it is a completely different story. Although my favorite thing about Christmas is shopping. It is a frenzy in all the stores but that is what makes it fun. I know this may sound corny but I really enjoy buying gifts for other people. This year I am finally going to be financially able to buy everyone something nice instead of something just to show I tried. As much as I cherish Christmas I will also be thankful when it is over. With all the shopping, cooking, wrapping presents, and cleaning up all of the mess; Christmas can be very exhausting. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!
