Clearly, the funding by the elected Politicians within our Government of the United States of America for the campaigns of future elected Politicians truly is not a fair and equal way in which to fill the seats of authority within our Democratic form of Government. As a matter of fact, the Government's offer to allow you to donate a dollar, via your tax return, is just a clever device to allow the Political Party in power to give those dollars to their own Party Members and thus increase that Party's Political Power within a Government that is supposed to be for the majority of, "We People of the United States of America."
The informed voter is well aware of the fact that the more money that a Political Candidate has, the more people can be reached to promote the Candidate's likability by the Public. The truth is, more votes are simply bought and money is available in which to conduct a smear campaigns against opponents, rather than conduct a fair and honest quest for Public Office.
Then again, for the last 30 years the people who did win those elections truly did little or nothing of what they said they would do if we voted them into those Public Offices. Campaign funds alone, provided by private people or our Government, is not enough to insure that those funded Politicians will actually do something worthwhile for the majority. Prove me wrong.
Instead of spending money to elect the next batch of do nothing Politicians, we should hire investigators who can expose the corrupt Politicians that currently hold seats of power within our Government, and expel each and every one of them. After that, I believe that the next batch of elected Politicians would be more responsive to the needs of the majority of, "We People of the United States of America."
