Reflections: The fun moments of married life

The fun moments of married life. Do we have fun moments? Why sure we do if we just think about it for a moment. We caught up in our busy lives, rushing around all the time, we tend to forget to laugh and have some fun.

My husband can always make me laugh. He can be so funny. There was this one time when he was driving through the Walmart parking lot when this car just about hit him. He called the driver a name and shot him a bird. I started laughing so hard that I couldn't even tell him why I was laughing. When I got myself together I told him I was laughing because his window was tinted so dark that the person he was shooting the bird to couldn't see it. Of course he said I had a weird sense of humor but it really was funny.

Think about this for a moment. Computers are now in our lives Most every household probably have at least one computer. We have three. We have a desk top and 2 laptops. My husband and I will sit in the living room at night, both of us with our laptops playing on the computer. We both have IM. Keep in mind we are both in the same room and we will IM each other. I do it more than he does. I think it's funny, since men can only concentrate on one thing at a time, it sort of messes up his reading when I pop in on him.

When our daughter was in school, we had fun running around to all her ballgames. That was probably our entertainment except for eating. That is one thing we both enjoy doing is eating out. Now it's just the two of us. We do have fun with each other, laughing and cutting up, eating(we still like to do that), or just sitting around the house doing nothing. We do have our grandkids to play with and one has just started T-ball. My husband usually keeps them every other weekend since my daughter works with me on the same weekend. My grandson is five, the granddaughter is two. I look forward to getting home to see what kind of shape my husband is in.

You will find in some of my articles I have written that marriage is hard work, won't ever do it again, blah, blah, blah. I still feel that way. I do love my husband though, and we do have fun times together. When it comes right down to it, it's just us. It's just me and my husband. Through the hard work, the good and bad times, it has been worth it all to be where we are right now.

People need to take time to make some fun moments in their lives. When you are having a bad day or just a blah day, think of something funny about your husband, or something he did that was funny. I'm sure there are quite a few things your husband(the man) has done that will put a smile on your face.
