NO, NO, NO! The FDA should not regulate natural supplements and herbal remedies!
There are many ways to skin the proverbial cat, just as there are many ways to heal a sick or injured body. It is everyone's right to chose the path they will take. It seems to me that the main reason the FDA wants to regulate natural supplements and herbs, is: PAYOLA. Clods sit in their offices, Big Pharma waves big bucks in front of them, and PRESTO, the rest of us suffer. SUFFER. That's the word, all right. Not only physically, but mentally.
The FDA didn't do its job when it came to the importing of contaminated pet food. The FDA isn't doing its job when it comes to inspecting imported foods for human consumption. The FDA isn't keeping an eye on farmers who use illegals to work in the fields, some of which contaminate crops by not using a porta-pot. Illegals also bring diseases from their homeland into the fields, and if the FDA is taking steps to stop such practices, it's a top secret. They quite simply aren't doing their job in a lot of ways, and yet they want to mess with natural supplements and herbal remedies? If it wasn't so sad, I'd laugh.
One last comment. FDA stands for: Fools. Dummies. and the impolite word for Donkeys.
