Weight loss: where and how to find motivation

You have got to "WANT IT 100%" and have a strong desire to achieve weight loss!
If you want to lose the weight and do not have the burning desire to go for it 100% then you will fail. In my weight loss journey in 2004, I was 209 pounds or so and went down to 142 pounds in 7 months. I used on-line buddies to keep me going.
That was not the only thing that kept me going though.


I wrote every day my thoughts and feelings, my weight loss and what I ate and my goals, in my weight loss journey journal. I read allot of magazines that had inspirational stories of other people that lost weight and watched The biggest loser on t.v. Anything that inspired me and kept me going I did it!
I would set 10 pound weight loss goals and would reward myself with something after I lost another ten pounds. I went to sun tanning beds,got body wraps,my nails done, and more. Notice that everything I did helped me feel and look better and built me up more, with my self esteem.
I believe anyone can achieve their weight loss goals if they try 100% and never give up or give in. It took time to put it on and it takes allot to take it back off. If you go off it for a day don't think it is the end, just pick yourself up and try again and don't quit. You and only you, have got to want it to succeed!
