Child Molesters, Predators, Offenders- It doesn't really matter what you call them, the end result is a child's life has been short changed, ruined, and indefinitely causing that child to never experience the joy of their youth. It will never be recovered! The predators, when they are caught use the system to avoid serious prison time, claiming insanity, victim of abuse and so on and so on. When did our concern and compassion exceed that of our own children? Do we hold police officers at a higher standard when they are killed by sentencing the offender to death? Yet, with all of the road blocks we created for minors, we send the predators whom MOLESTED A CHILD, to prison for 10 or 12 years, let him go free, so he can offend again. The facts are clear: 7 out of 10 molesters will offend again without fail. 10 out of 10 molesters will tell you that the roster of collected victims is higher than what officials are aware of. Meaning, we have 100's of 1000's of children whom live every day knowing that their molester is somewhere out their roaming free, and was never held accountable for their to crime to them. Often as an end result of the molester being released from prison.

Are we to continue to over crowd our prisons, only to provide the ammunition to these offenders by the knowledge they gain in prison, for the sake of not having to carry on our conscience for putting them to death? Maybe you might change your mind if it happened to your child, and you suffered the consequence of what it did to them, physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
The death penalty is appropriate for child molesters. We need to work on protecting our children from these offenders, rather than the focus of treating them, and sending them back into our neighborhoods.
