Personally, I think it's a Prime Minister and his name is FELIPE ZAPATERO in Spain, leader of Left government.
I don't like him simply because he's of the Left (like me), but also beceuse he has just the courage to face problems (although I don't think his solution are perfect) instead of simply thinking to how to keep his own ass stick to a power seat, as the largest part of politicians everywhere do, either of the Left and of the Right.

He took the government on March 2004, winning the elections just few days after the terrible terroristic attacks in Madrid (March 11th).

The first decision he took has been withdrawing Spanish troops from Iraq, as promised during his electoral campaign.

The second was the new authonomy statute for Catalunya, that has created many polemics, but, maybe, could have resolved a potentially dangerous problem for the unity of the Country.

The third was the reform of the school, reducing also the excessive influence of Catholic Church in it to have a more neutral and independant school in Spain.

The fourth and last has been allowing the civil marriage for homosexuals and even the possibility, for this kind of couples, to adopt children.
Zapatero is not a revolutionary, believing only in progressive reforms; but in a conservative society like the Spanish is today, many courage is needed even for modest reforms.
