First of all, how can anyone define themselves as "pro life"? The term itself implies that there is another group of people who are anti life, which would be a group against living, and wouldn't that just be ridiculous? Should such a group as "anti life" even be considered, several problems would arise: how can people against life allow themselves to continue living; if they don't, how is there a group; and, if they do, how are they a legitimate group as they should be against their own lives.
But, as the term is probably meant in this title, that is to say "Anti abortion", I believe it is entirely possible to be both a feminist and against abortion. After all, each individual has their own views on moral issues, and abortion is very much a moral matter.
Feminists are for female rights, and what rights are more involved to a woman than the fate of her own body and offspring? So a feminist is fully justified in her concerns, as long as she is not attempting to force other women over to her viewpoint. Any single person who attempts to force others to their point of view, regardless of the issue, is no civil rights advocate of any kind.
In short, I believe that it is a good thing for any feminist to know her mind as far as the issue of abortion is concerned, no matter which side she choses, as long as she doesn't attempt to control the minds of others.
