Money is the only thing that matters to those who DON'T have it because they really need it. It's also the only thing that matters to those who DO have it because they want more.

Money is the root of all evil people say because it makes honest people dishonest, it turns family against family, and it causes people to hurt or kill each other to get it. It gives people the power to do anything they want to do to one another. Yet it can do good through donations to those who really need it and are qualified to get it.

So in essence, it is not the money per se, it is the people who are handling the money that makes or breaks the rules. PEOPLE who have plenty of money can BUY THEIR FREEDOM from any number of charges to stay out of prison. But, PEOPLE with no money have to suffer the consequences of what the law deals out to them, and that can be catastrophic for many. That just goes to show that equal justice is not a priority in this country. It's who you know, who you can afford to speak on your behalf, and who can lie the best to protect your rights!

Money don't care who has it but the PEOPLE that have it do care. And those without money can stay up nights trying to figure out ways to get it from those who have it. A life doesn't mean a plugged nickel to PEOPLE who want your money. And those who are on drugs will lie their way out of a paper sack to get your money. That's why our society is so uptight and afraid to do things they would like to do because they don't want to be robbed and killed over a dollar.

Equal wealth will NEVER happen in this country but it could possibly solve most of our criminal problems. Listen! When we release prisoners, how do we figure they're going to survive? They can't get a job because of their police record. They can't even get a place to stay for the same reason. So, what do we expect them to do? Exactly what they did to get into prison in the first place; take, steal, rob, murder, extort or whatever he has to in order to survive. We are just like any other animal. We will hurt one another for survival. So we need to stop pushing mankind into corners and then wonder why they can be so violent when they are trying to get what they need.

Why can't we have a system developed that will put a prisoner directly to work as soon as he passes through the prison gates? Why can't we have half-way houses for them to stay until they find a place of their own? What do you think a lion or a bear would do if you released him from his cage? The same
