Man that's a real toughy, Montana? He won four. Bradshaw? He won four too. Maybe even the starting quarterback for the Mighty Monkeys of the "My Work Place Sucks League" of which Mr Brady is the start for, Oh and a team called the New England Patriots too. You could even look at quarter backs like Jim Kelly who was probably the best quarter back to never ever win a Superbowl but did something no other quarterback has done. Go to four straight Superbowl's. Than there's John Elway who played in more Superbowl's than any other quarterback in history. Perhaps you could even say that is someone like Troy Aikman of Roger Staubach, they both won three a piece, and they both played for them Cowboys. Than you've got Tarkenton of the Vikings, hey four trips to the big dance is impressive. Even if your team never won the thing. Than of coarse there's Kenny stabler the snake from those Oakland Raiders teams, yuck. I being a big fan, and member of the Orange and the Blue can't stand as I happen to love my Broncos, and there for am a self proclaimed Raider Hater all the way! I think out of this list there must be a definite number one though it is hard to say.
Even Bart star might qualify as he won the first two. I am going to rank them in this way:
1) Montana/Bradshaw: Just because you have to respect the accomplishment of four for four. That's a dynasty baby!
2) Elway: sorry my bias is with my Broncos, 5 appearances folks two victories, and yes some dreadful defeats. Elway in his first three trips really had no supporting cast on offense. So beating Shotenhiemers Cleveland Browns was an enjoyable pst time. more over his victory over a dramatic climax in Superbowl 32 just didn't finally win one for the Broncos it eliminated a long drought by the AFC.
3) Brady: To win three of these things in an era of free agency is quite the accomplishment and more over should he do it again this year I'd have to say hands down the best and number one of all time, but that still remains to be seen.
4) Kelly: Four in a row, I still can't see how this team of the early 90's didn't have a dynasty of there own. not only did Kelly rock the whole team was stock pliled with a boatload of rich talent. My guess is that so much so you'll see quite a few Bills in Canton in the years to come.
5) Airman/Staubach: three in the 90s with Aikman, and three in the 70's with Staubach
I put them her the Cowboy dynasty of the 70's and that of the 90's. weather it was stone faced Laundress or Jimmy Johnson and his
