I have two kids that are 2 yrs old and 5 months old. My kids keep my day busy. In the morning I make sure that both of my kids have a clean diaper/pull-up on. I make my two year old a bowl of cereal because that is all she wants in the morning, then I make a bottle for my 5 month old. After my two year old is done eating her breakfast, she has to have a piece of candy after wards and if I don't give it to her she throws a huge fit and starts kicking and screaming. I can't stand listening to her scream so I give in. I know it isn't right for me to give in because it seems like she is the parent and I'm the kid. After all the morning drama is over I try to get some cleaning done while my 5 month old is sleeping. My two year old helps me clean. When I go to vacuum she grabs her little toy vacuum and helps me. By the time the cleaning is all done, I have to make another bottle for my 5 month old. By the time my husband gets home from work my 2 year old runs to the door to greet him, and then the house is all messed up for me to clean again. My husband try to keep the kids occupied while I straighten things up a bit. My husband thinks that I have it easy staying at home with the kids while he's working, but I don't have it as easy as he thinks I do. I do just about as much work as he does in a day if not more.
I would like to see a guy do what us women do in a day, and see how they hold up with the kids screaming and crying..... It doesn't bother me to stay at home with my kids, I love staying at home with them and watching them grow up. I don't miss a thing that they do. After everything is done, my 2 year old does her little dance, to enterntain my husband and me. By the time the kids go to bed, I'm ready to fall asleep to, but I know I still have things to do, like the dishes from dinner, and make sure that everyone has had there bath, and if I forget to give one of the kids a bath I do that first thing in the morning. After the kids go to bed I sit down and relax before heading to bed myself.
