Nevada is a beautiful place to be married in. These simple steps will show you how to get married in Nevada with no problems. You will be on your way to the perfect wedding in no time! Keep in mind that requirements may vary, as each county in Nevada could have their own requirements.

Step #1: Decide which county of Nevada you would like to have your wedding. You do not have to be a resident of Nevada to be married there. Requirements for U.S. citizens and Non U.S. citizens are the same.

Step #2: Apply for a marriage license. Valid picture identification is required. Acceptable identification includes valid Driver's License, valid identification card from DMV, valid Passport, Resident Alien card, Military ID card, or Certified or Original Birth Certificate. If previously married, your divorce must be final. You will need to know the exact date of your divorce, and the location (city and state) where you were divorced. There is no waiting period to get married in Nevada. The license is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued. It may be used anywhere within the State of Nevada.

Step #3: Find someone to perform your ceremony. This can be any ordained or licensed clergymen who have obtained a certificate of permissions to perform marriages, and justices of the peace.
