Hi again, my status ahs changed since I was last here, our ilness hs only just been classed as a chronic ilness and not a terminal one.
Its been a while since I last wrote here. Want to know why?
You may remember my health issues with my youngest daughter, well in the last 2 weeks a diagnosis has been made, but certainly not one I would have expected in a million years, and with a massive knock on effect.
I have persisted for man years to try and find out why my daughter has a swelling underneath her right ear, the swelling never causes any discomfort but over the years has changed from being the size of a nut to the size of a grape and my concern was that if surgery was needed the bigger the lump the bigger the scar once it was removed.
It is still very difficult for me to talk about htis subjet but this site makes it slightly more bareable.
After many CT and MRI scans and the threat of lung and node biopsies we have finally found the cause. Am i relieved. To a certain extent, yes I am, I just wish it was a differnt diagnosis, the reason why, well the disease that my child has has been inherited for want of a better phrase, can anyone hazzard a guess at what it is yet.
Well lets start with the fact that at 7 years old my daughter has never been poorly, had a few instances with her ears, and a strange abcess on her head plus shingles but other than that nothing, no food poisoning no flu no chest infections nothing, any ideas yet
