Summer! In some places this word means the season when the freezing cold takes a rest to make way to a more template weather. Not in the Caribbean! There it means more of the great sun received all year long. It is true the heat may be a little harsh in people who are not used to it, but what other way would you prefer going to the paradise beaches and tropical forests. I do not know about you, but I like my drinks very cold and my beaches very, very hot. Consisting of two major island archipelagos, the major Antilles and the minor Antilles, the Caribbean has a wide variety of countries you can choose from all with excellent tourist attractions. Museums, Spanish fortifications, tropical forests, and of course lots of beautify beaches are some of the things you will find in these pieces of paradise located in the Caribbean. As a matter fact Puerto Rico has four of the five bioluminescent bays in the world, this night spectacle is a miracle even to the experienced traveler. Therefore my answer is, yes it is worth enduring the summer heat of the Caribbean for a trip to the islands. And for the people, as I read in some other article, that the summer at the islands is too hot for their pale skin I have two words for you "sun block". So go ahead and enjoy an unforgettable summer at a perfect Caribbean beach enjoying a delicious "pia colada".
