Where have all the heroes gone? Well the times have changed, heroes need to change with them. One hero that will never evolve is Superman, the original boy scout, is still the same. Yes he has died twice, he's been married and lost loved ones, but he still stands for truth, justice and the American way. He is a hero in his own way, but he still has his own demons. If you ask me a hero is someone who puts his life over all others. Then there's the Punisher, his entire family gets killed, so he goes all out for revenge. Would you call this a hero? Some people would say no, but still he puts his life on the line to protect another life, while taking another of course. He is considered a hero in some peoples eyes. He has taken out a scum that made life awful. Heroes come in all shapes, all types of back grounds. They may not all stand for truth and justice, but they do fight for the little guy. Heroes come and go, but for children of the old days, these were their escapes. They were our friends and adventures. No our heroes have not gone away they have grown up with us. They have changed and evolved, but the fantasy is still there. Our heroes are still there, between the pages of your favorite book.
