Their slowly disappearing thanks to our modern day mentality and some ultra-conservative lack of imagination! Oh!, don't let little johnny watch superman it's not educational instead put on nickelodeon and watch grown men dressed in animal customs talking to cartoon characters. Thank God I grew up in a time where American kids went to school with Batman and Wonder woman lunch boxes and when Superman was the topic of our conversations for hours.
Those heroes were not just cartoons they are our traditions, A part of American lives that made us aim a little higher, they were ours, and we were proud of them.
I understand that we live in a capitalistic society, but there should never be a supply and demand put on our dreams and imagination, what else in the history of television has put a spark in every children's eyes around the world that someday they may be able to Zoom-bang and fight evil wherever they are needed!
A world without heroes is a world without hope, our super heroes may not exist in reality (yet) but they exist in our minds and in our hearts, in a world where things are changing at super sonic speeds we need their help to remind us of the days where dreams do matter and where one for all is all for one!
