Traveling to Hong Kong with very young kids

was Cinderella Carousel. The second ride was Dumbo the Flying Elephant. We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for both rides. It was suitable for both my kids and my mother.

We had lunch at the Royal Banquet Hall, which was very beautiful. The food was not cheap, and the quality was average. But we enjoyed our meals in the comfortable surroundings. I was glad we had our lunch early when there were many empty seats, because later when the tour groups arrived, the place was very packed and it was difficult to find seats.

After lunch, we went to take the Jungle River Cruise. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get on the boat. It was pretty exciting, with live commentary and special effects. After the cruise, we went to Mickey's PhilharMagic to watch the 3D show. But my kids were afraid of the dark, and they got scared of the 3D effects and started screaming. So I had to bring them out after 10 minutes.

Next we walked over to Tomorrowland. We queued up for almost 45 minutes at the Autopia. My mother, my maid and my boy took one car. My girl and I took another car. It was quite fun. After that, we took the Orbitron, very short queue here. Then we sat by the UFO zone which has some water works. We cool down and had drinks there. The weather was very hot.

We walked over to the Sleeping Beauty Castle and took some photos there. Also took a photo with Belle from Beauty and the Beast. At this time, the Disney parade started. Then we walked back to Fantasyland. I wanted to take the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but for some reason, my little girl refused to go inside the building. I gave up the tickets, and we went to take the Mad Hatter Tea Cups instead. Then we took the train from the Fantasyland Train Station, all the way back to the Main Street station.

After some shopping at the Main Street shops, it was about 5pm, and it was time to go back to the hotel. We were all tired, but we all enjoyed ourselves. When we returned to the hotel, we went over to the adjoining shopping mall to have dinner. There was a food court, and many small restaurants there, a very good variety of food.

The next day, we went to visit the Victoria Peak. We took a taxi to the Star Ferry terminal, and took a ferry to cross over to Hong Kong island. This time we only brought one stroller, the Maclaren Volo, which was very light weight. Then we took a bus up to the peak. We had lunch at a Chinese restaurant on the peak. We all enjoyed the views and the cool air. We took the peak tram down, followed by a bus back to the Star Ferry terminal. From there we took a taxi back to the hotel.

In the evening, we went outside of the hotel to walk along the streets. The hotel was right beside the Women's street and Fa Yuen Street, with a high concentration of shops. There is a lot of local flavor here. It was quite easy to push 2 strollers around.

The next morning, it was time to return home to Singapore. It was a nice trip, but quite tiring, fortunately I brought my maid along to help me. Now it is more than one year later, my boy could not remember the trip at all, but my girl wanted to go back again.
