Great cleaning tips using vinegar

Vinegar can be used for more than just cooking, it is actually great for cleaning

too, not to mention it could save you alot of money on cleaning products! With

that in mind let's get to the cleaning. Use vinegar to make a home made window

cleaner, using 1/3 cup of vinegar to one quart of water, place in spray bottle and

your ready to clean windows, appliances, or any thing else that you would use glass

cleaner on. Vinegar is also great for cleaning water spots and rust stains off of

stainless steel sinks. Apply vinegar, undiluted to a sponge and wipe the sink clean!

It really is just that easy.

I've also used vinegar in the dish washer to help cut down on odors and help

minimize water spots. Just add 1/2 cup of vinegar to your normal dish washing

routine. To remove wax build up on vinyl floors, add 1 cup of vinegar to a gallon

and a half of warm water, mop floors and let dry. Now you can use a floor

brightener and see your floors shine as they did when they were new. Vinegar can

also be added to your dish water to help cut through grease on your dishes.

Vinegar can help to remove arm pit stains on shirts. Soak the stained area with

vinegar and let sit for one hour, then launder as usual.
