How vendors can help you fund your business

Businesses in the current time is radically different from what they do many years ago. Companies that concern about only themselves will never go far as far as most of us knows. So, there is an absolute need to form a business network. Why do companies even bother to hold appreciation dinners for their vendors? Well, the reason is clear, you must have alliance in order to flourish or in some case, survive.

While these vendors are having vested interest in your business by providing what was being stipulated in the contract, having good relationship with them can bring you good and value added deal in some cases.

1. Low Cost - In some cases, in trading businesses, vendors are the ones who provide the goods and in most cases they control the price. If they want to, they can really press the price down to a very competitive level.

2. Consignment - Most vendors only allow consignment to regular customers and if you are one of them, you will enjoy this feature of business operation because by having consignment, you are not required to pay for the goods first hand. You are not even required to pay for deposit. This business transaction is done on a absolute trust and over a stipulated and agreed period. You are able to profit from the sales of the goods and return the money to the vendor after that. This way, you will not have to cough out the initial capital required for the goods and having more capital on hand.

3. Extended Repayment Period - If your vendor wants to they are able to extend the repayment period by your company. And you know that business have their ups and downs and this is really one good way to have an extended due assistance to your company capital net cash flow to maintain your operation until you are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Now you know, having some alliance formed with your vendors could have these much of advantages. So such approaches is absolutely required and necessary.
