There comes a time when all of us,
fall stone cold and dead,
When you bury me here's a must,
I want a stone above my head.
Make sure that it tells,
about the life that I had,
of all the happy chimes and bells,
none at all of the sad.
Put me under a wide oak tree,
where the leaves turn yellow in fall,
So the beauty will run deep with me,
after I answer God's call.
Put me next to my wife,
family and friends,
put me where, for all your life,
Our legacy will not end.
Passing of life is not the end,
for my story will be told,
Upon my writings, the message send,
that I just grew too old.
When you bury me,
put me in the shade,
of that lovely old oak tree,
where my soul will be saved.

Poetry: When you bury me
When you bury me
down deep in the earth
I want you to know,
for whatever it's worth-
That I always loved you
more than myself
by Paul Morgan
Not dead, but sleeping.
I was not dead, but sleeping
when you went and buried me.
Can you not now hear me calling
from the old
In Memory of My Grandfather, William O. Jones
Oh, my loved ones, please, don't cry
Tears of bitterness and sorrow;
I leave
by JRR
When I take my final breath
And they prepare to lay me in the ground
There are things I need you to remember
Know I will
by Katie Osborn
The blade goes deeper and deeper.
Blood, Blades, Bare it
But never as deep as needed or wanted.
Never bleeds enough, as dreams
