"Universal preschool" would be a mistake! What if there was a "Universal school" for all grades including college. Everyone would have the same thinking, the same knowledge, the same qualifications, and most importantly the same type of lifestyle to a point.

A child, only, wants to play and have fun. a child, that goes into a school setting, where there is no difference, may feel bored and would not be challenged to employ his or her own personality, talents, and academics. Each school setting is different, due to where the school is and the way it is run.

A stay at home student, who, never gets to know the difference in learning can not apply what he or she may have hidden within. For example: If a 4 year old boy would find another way of handling how he learns, he would be told he was wrong and different. What would this do to his self-image, self-worth, self-confidence, and self-motivation? Why should he care about himself? Does he know, that, what he has is important?

A teacher, who, taught in an "universal school" may not feel it is important enough to teach that day or may not feel the need to be a good teacher. What would be her motivation, and drive? Would the academic achievement really be improved or would be another failure in the educational system?

What are we teaching our children, in age, where indiviualism is becoming almost a thing of the past? With lawsuits coming left and right over freedoms, a child in a universal school won't even know what his or rights are nor would their parents! In other countries, a child, who, doesn't excel in an academic or talent will not go far. He or she will just live a life of the ordinary, not realizing what he or does is important.

Universal schools, in my opinion, will only harm a child's own self image, instead of, excelling in it!
